AI Analyst for Google Sheets Data
Connect your Google Sheets data, get a shareable dashboard with AI-generated charts and insights in seconds.
What you can analyze from Google Sheets
Sreniq treats your Google Sheets spreadsheet as a normalised tabular dataset and lets you ask questions in plain English. Typical sources our customers connect from Google Sheets:
- weekly KPI trackers and OKR rollups
- marketing channel spend and CAC tables
- sales pipeline exports and quarterly forecasts
- operations rosters, inventory ledgers, and survey responses
- finance close worksheets, P&L drafts, and budget vs actuals
How to connect Google Sheets to Sreniq
Google Sheets does not require OAuth. You provide a URL or API key, Sreniq validates it against a strict allowlist, and analysis begins immediately.
Make the sheet shareable
In Google Sheets, click Share and set access to 'Anyone with the link can view'. Sreniq does not request your Google account; it only fetches the published CSV export of the sheet.
Paste the sheet URL
Copy the full URL from your browser address bar (anything in the form docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/{ID}/...) and paste it into Sreniq's Google Sheets connector.
Pick the tab to analyze
Sreniq fetches the first visible tab (gid=0) by default. The CSV export endpoint runs server-side through our SSRF-hardened fetcher, so private addresses and unrelated hosts are blocked.
Chat with your data
Once the data lands, ask questions in plain English. Sreniq generates charts, tables, and a narrative summary you can share via a public link.
Example questions you can ask
Once your Google Sheets data is in Sreniq, you chat with it. Sreniq generates the right chart, table, or narrative for each question — you do not need to pick a visualisation first.
- “Which channels drove the highest revenue this quarter, and what was the trend month-over-month?”
- “Build a dashboard showing weekly active users and signup funnel conversion.”
- “Summarise pipeline by stage and surface the deals that have stalled longest.”
- “Compare budget vs actuals across departments and flag the biggest variances.”
- “Plot survey NPS by region and call out the largest detractor segments.”
What you get
- Auto-generated charts (line, bar, area, donut, table) sized for the question you asked
- AI-written narrative — what the data says, not just how it looks
- Key takeaways pulled out as headline insights
- A public, shareable link you can send to teammates or embed
- Light + dark themes and mobile-responsive output by default
- All data stays in your session — Sreniq does not retain raw rows
Privacy and permissions
No OAuth scopes are requested. Sreniq fetches the published CSV export of the sheet you paste, so the data must be set to 'Anyone with the link can view'. Nothing is stored beyond your transient analysis session. Every upstream call goes through Sreniq's SafeFetch helper, which enforces a strict host allowlist, hard size caps, and per-hop redirect re-validation to defeat SSRF and redirect-rebind attacks. Sreniq does not sell or share your data with third parties.
