What you can analyze from Airtable

Sreniq treats your Airtable base as a normalised tabular dataset and lets you ask questions in plain English. Typical sources our customers connect from Airtable:

  • project trackers and content calendars
  • CRMs and lightweight pipeline bases
  • inventory, asset, and issue trackers
  • event registration and attendee lists
  • applicant tracking and onboarding bases

How to connect Airtable to Sreniq

Sreniq uses Airtable's standard OAuth flow — read-only scopes, no write access, and tokens stored encrypted server-side. Set up takes about a minute.

  1. Click 'Connect Airtable'

Sreniq opens Airtable's OAuth authorization page in a new window. You pick the bases to share — Sreniq cannot see bases outside that selection.

  2. Approve scopes

Sreniq requests data.records:read and schema.bases:read only. No write permissions are ever requested, so nothing in your base can be modified.

  3. Choose a base and table

Sreniq lists up to 10 of your most recent bases and the tables inside each. Pick one and the records are fetched page-by-page (100 per page, capped at 5,000 rows per import).

  4. Chat with the records

Sreniq detects fields automatically and lets you ask questions in plain English. Generated charts respect your field types (number, date, single-select, etc.).

Example questions you can ask

Once your Airtable data is in Sreniq, you chat with it. Sreniq generates the right chart, table, or narrative for each question — you do not need to pick a visualisation first.

  • What's the average time-to-close for deals in our CRM, broken down by source?
  • Build a Gantt-style view of project milestones from the roadmap base.
  • Show inventory by SKU and surface items below reorder threshold.
  • Plot event registrations by day and call out the largest attendee segments.
  • Compare candidate pipeline by role and stage.

What you get

  • Auto-generated charts (line, bar, area, donut, table) sized for the question you asked
  • AI-written narrative — what the data says, not just how it looks
  • Key takeaways pulled out as headline insights
  • A public, shareable link you can send to teammates or embed
  • Light + dark themes and mobile-responsive output by default
  • All data stays in your session — Sreniq does not retain raw rows

Privacy and permissions

OAuth scopes requested: data.records:read and schema.bases:read. These are read-only and limited to the bases you select during the Airtable consent screen. Tokens are stored encrypted server-side for the session. Every upstream call goes through Sreniq's SafeFetch helper, which enforces a strict host allowlist, hard size caps, and per-hop redirect re-validation to defeat SSRF and redirect-rebind attacks. Sreniq does not sell or share your data with third parties.

Frequently asked questions

How fresh is the data?
Records are fetched live from Airtable's REST API on each import. There is no caching or background polling.
How big a base can I import?
Each import is capped at 5,000 records to keep dashboard generation responsive. For larger bases, filter or split into views before importing.
Which field types work?
All standard Airtable field types are read; complex types (attachments, linked records) come through as their text representation.
Is the integration safe?
Yes. The connector enforces 5 MB caps on metadata calls, 25 MB on data pages, a 10 s timeout, and an allowlist restricted to .airtable.com hosts to defeat redirect-rebind attacks.
